Shakeh Mangasarian: “The Ministry of Diaspora continues to carry out new programs with efforts to make the impossible possible”

To the honorable RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan,

To the staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora

I congratulate all of us on the seventh anniversary of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. The RA Ministry of Diaspora is a unique organization for all Armenians around the world. It serves as a bridge between Armenian communities facing new challenges and having resisted the difficulties of the 21st century and does the impossible to find solutions to all issues, and the ministry continues to carry out new programs by making efforts to make the impossible possible.

I commend the fact that Diaspora Armenians and Diaspora Armenian organizations are awarded for preserving the Armenian identity and preserving and disseminating national values.  On July 22, 2015, Radio Ayg was also granted a first degree award by the RA Ministry of Diaspora for its mission to preserve the Armenian identity, serve as a bridge between Armenia and the Diaspora, as well as to preserve Armenian language and culture abroad.

I also commend the unity and goal-oriented efforts of the media and the discussions that serve as an impetus for the expansion of cooperation, providing Armenians of the Diaspora with the opportunity to come together and discuss new perspectives.

I commend the conference that was devoted to the issues of convergence between Western Armenian and Eastern Armenian. The conference served as a way for us Diaspora Armenians to listen to speeches devoted to the issues related to the two ramifications of the Armenian language and the grounds for unification of orthography.

We convey our love to the Ministry of Diaspora, which is marking its seventh anniversary and wish vigor to reach new horizons.

I wish peace to you and all Armenians.
