Participants of 4th stage of “Ari Tun” Program bought symbolic gifts for themselves and their relatives at the Vernisazh market

The participants of the fourth stage of the “Ari Tun” Program have been in Armenia for the past six days. They have visited Etchmiadzin, Yerablur Military Pantheon, Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, Sardarapat Memorial, Khor Virap Monastery, the temple in Garni and Geghard Monastery, as well as Noravank Monastery.

On July 18, the participants visited the Vernisazh market to buy gifts symbolizing Armenia for themselves and their relatives.

The 15 students of the Yuzbashian-Gulbenkian School of Jordan and their teacher, Raquel Asatrian-Margarian were excited as they shared their impressions of the homeland.

Ani Bedevian, 20, has decided to receive her higher education in Armenia and has already gotten accepted to Yerevan State Linguistic University after Valery Bryusov, and her sister, Vivian mentioned that she would also follow her sister’s example.

Karine Demirdjian, 12, stood in the section of the Vernisazh market where shirts with the Armenian tricolor flag were sold as soon as she entered the market, selected one of them and happily said she would proudly wear the shirt with the words “I Am Armenian” on it in Jordan.

Giragos Yaghlian, 12, bought a bracelet with red, blue and apricot color shades and car hangers for his father and brother. “When I return, I’ll urge all my friends to visit Armenia. I feel safe here. I can go out at night and tour the illuminated streets of Yerevan at ease.”

Victoria Sahakyan and Armen Krdyan from Moscow shared their impressions of Etchmiadzin where they lit candles and dreamed of settling in the Homeland someday.

Today the participants of the “Ari Tun” Program will visit Yerevan Zoo. In a couple of days, they’ll be participating in the camping event that will provide them with the opportunity to get to know each other better.
