Participants of “Ari Tun” Program: “The greatest achievement is that we improved our Armenian”

Participants of “Ari Tun” Program share their stories…

Artash Khanoyan from Akhaltskha, Georgia

“I would like to express my deep gratitude to the RA Ministry of Diaspora, especially for organizing an Armenian language course for us during the “Ari Tun” Program.

I’m very happy that I attended the lessons. We learned about Armenian history, culture and literature and became more familiar with the homeland.

I would also like to thank my teacher, Mrs. Abazyan for her generosity.”

Harutyun Melkonyan from Moscow, Russian Federation

“I’ve adapted to life in Moscow, but that doesn’t stop me from thinking about coming to Armenia. I always follow the events taking place in Armenia and maintain ties with my relatives. I’m impressed with the Armenian language courses that I attended while participating in the “Ari Tun” Program.

I’ll remember the visit to the pagan temple in Garni for a long time. It had a great impact on me.”

David Melkonyan from Akhaltskha, Georgia

“I made many discoveries during the short time that I spent in Armenia through the “Ari Tun” Program. The most important thing is that I was able to become more familiar with Armenia and visit all the sites worth seeing.

I realized that Armenia is truly a beautiful country. Participating in the Armenian language courses helped me gain more knowledge.”

Armine Paloyan from Georgia

“I would like to focus on the accelerated Armenian language courses.

I live in an Armenian-populated village of Georgia. True, we speak Armenian and attend an Armenian school, but we don’t study Armenian history. However, I’m not in despair. I learn about Armenian history either on the Internet or in books.

The courses provided me with a great opportunity to gain more knowledge. I’m very thankful to the RA Ministry of Diaspora for organizing the “Ari Tun” Program.”

Armine Siradeghyan from Rostov, Russian Federation

“This isn’t my first visit to Armenia. I always try to spend my summer vacation in Armenia.

I’m happy that I was able to visit Armenia through the “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora as well.

I participated in this program because I wanted to spend more time discovering my Homeland. The greatest achievement for us young Diaspora Armenians was that we started improving our Armenian during the program.”
