The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia will discuss the draft of a declaration on the Armenian Genocide Centennial.
Introducing the agenda for the upcoming four-day session of the National Assembly, Chairman of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan informed that during its April 7 special session, the NA Standing Foreign Relations Committee approved the inclusion of the draft of the declaration on the Armenian Genocide Centennial in the agenda for the sitting and four-day sessions.
“I must add that we will discuss the draft right after the discussion on the current issue. Other deputies can join the text of the declaration,” Sahakyan declared, as “Armenpress” reports. The authors of the draft are Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan and Deputy of the Heritage Party’s faction Zaruhi Postanjyan.
