Euronest PA delegation discussing resolution condemning the Armenian Genocide in Armenia

On March 17, the Armenian delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly held an official meeting and discussion with the delegation of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly at the central office of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), as the news service of the RPA youth organization reports, writes Tert.am.

The Euronest Parliamentary Assembly is a parliamentary assembly with the aim to contribute to the political association and deepen economic cooperation with the European Union and Eastern European partners.

Euronest tries to contribute to the strengthening, development and visibility of the Eastern Partnership as an institution that is responsible for parliamentary consulting, oversight and monitoring.

Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, RPA Vice-Chairman Armen Ashotyan talked about the history and activities of the political party, as well as the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Armenia.

Afterwards, the delegates were introduced to the resolution condemning the Armenian Genocide and discussed the opportunities for future cooperation.

Let us remind that the delegation of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly arrived in Armenia on 15 March and has had meetings with the country’s influential political figures.
