Syrian-Armenian schoolchildren hosted at “Pokr Mher” Educational Complex-photos

Within the framework of the “Our Greats” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, Syrian-Armenian schoolchildren, with the accompaniment of the delegation led by Deputy Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Y. Simonyan and representatives of the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO visited “Pokr Mher” Educational Complex where they were warmly and cordially received by the staff of the educational complex.
Greeting the guests, head of the branch of the “Pokr Mher” educational complex Arman Mirzoyan and Deputy Director of the educational complex Naira Davtyan organized a cognitive tour and introduced the guests to the social and living conditions of the learners and the learning process.
Afterwards, the students of the educational complex presented the life and military career of prominent figure of the Armenian national liberation movement, great general Andranik Ozanyan through poems, the enactment of scenes and performances of national songs. One could feel the powerful spirit of the Armenians, as well as the nation’s willingness to fight, win, be the worthy soldier of the Armenians and defend the statehood.

Summing up, Director of “Pokr Mher” Educational Complex, Colonel S. Muradyan expressed gratitude to the organizers for instilling, reinforcing patriotism in the young generation and motivating them and urged them to hold such events on a regular basis.
The employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and granted books and DVDs to the educational complex.
The performances were followed by a showing of military drills, and the students showed the Syrian-Armenian schoolchildren their skills in breaking and assembling guns.
