President of France Francois Hollande will be in Yerevan on April 24^th, the day marking the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, as France’s Nouvelles d’Armenie reports.

Hollande announced his decision during the annual banquet organized by the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France on January 28. The President of France expressed certainty that the fight for the truth must continue. “I believe the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide can become a new stage for recognition of the Armenian Genocide,” Hollande said. France’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister for European Affairs, the mayor of Paris and others were also attending the annual banquet of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France.
