Armenia’s representative to perform in first semi-final of Eurovision Song Contest 2015

Armenia’s representative will perform in the first semi-final of Eurovision Song Contest 2015 to be held in Vienna, Austria on May 19, as Tert.am reports.

As posted on the official website of the song contest, a draw determining the sequence of performances was held in Vienna on January 26.

In the first part of the first semi-final (May 19), in addition to the performance by Armenia’s representative, there will also be performances by representatives of Greece, Macedonia, Estonia, the Netherlands, Moldova, Finland and Belgium, and in the second part, there will be performances by the representatives of Serbia, Denmark, Belarus, Romania, Russia, Albania, Georgia and Hungary.

The second semi-final (May 21) will include performances by the representatives of Norway, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, San-Marino, Malta, Portugal and Montenegro in the first part, as well as Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Latvia, Poland, Ireland, Israel, Cyprus and Sweden in the second part.

The final will be held on May 23. On that day, the countries of the “Great Five” (Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, France), as well as Austria, as winner of Eurovision Song Contest-2014 will automatically appear.

This year there will be 39 countries participating in the contest.

The name of Armenia’s delegate and the song will be announced in February.
