Another European country might pass a law condemning denial of the Armenian Genocide in 2015

Another European country might pass a law condemning denial of the Armenian Genocide ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in 2015. This is what Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, speaker of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov said during a press conference following the session of the RPA Executive Body.

“We’re negotiating with our European colleagues, and there is a country that will pass a law against denial of the Armenian Genocide,” Sharmazanov emphasized, without mentioning which country, as “ArmenPress” reports.

Sharmazanov emphasized that international recognition of the Armenian Genocide is still a priority for Armenia.
