RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia Tigran Jrbashyan.

The minister praised the activities that the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia has been carrying out for the past 14 years and attached importance to the cooperation between similar organizations promoting the improvement of the business environment in Armenia and state organizations, which will substantially contribute to the increase in investments.

The sides discussed issues related to the sphere, the regulation of the legislation, as well as issues on making joint efforts aimed at increasing Armenia’s reputation among foreign and Diaspora Armenian investors and instilling confidence.

Tigran Jrbashyan expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and talked about the programs and activities of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AMCHAM) and the potential paths for cooperation.

Minister Hranush Hakobyan suggested conducting more detailed studies on the investment climate and opportunities and work more closely with Armenian chambers of commerce and industry and other similar organizations based in Armenia and in different countries, particularly the Armenian Trade Network (ATN), as well as contribute to Armenia’s economic development and to the consolidation of the potential of all Armenians.
