Marseilles-Armenian gymnast to climb Mount Everest on the occasion of the Centennial of Armenian Genocide
On October 30, Ara Khachadourian’s “1915-2015 Everest for Memory” Plan was presented during an event organized by the Run for Memory Union at the ZHAF Cultural Union in Marseilles.
As reported by courirpourlamemoire.com, Marseilles-Armenian gymnast Ara Khachadourian will start a march to the peak of Mount Everest as a sign of peace and remembrance on the occasion of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide in the spring of 2015.
Mount Everest is the world’s highest mountain and is located 8,848 meters above sea level.
