On October 23, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Spain Avet Adonts had a meeting with Mayor of Barcelona Javier Trias. Representative of the Armenian community of Barcelona A. Mayilyan was also attending the meeting, reports the RA MFA press service

During the meeting, the mayor talked about the processes taking place in Catalonia and the perspectives, as well as stressed the fact that he is interested in the formation and implementation of an agenda for cooperation between Yerevan Municipality and the Municipality of Barcelona. The sides also touched upon issues concerning the Armenian community in Barcelona.

At the mayor’s request, Ambassador Adonts briefly presented Armenia’s and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ efforts for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution and other regional issues.
