Employees of the Department of All-Armenian Programs at the RA Ministry of Diaspora, under the leadership of Head of the Department Armen Andreasyan, visited 11 host families that hosted participants of the “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora in Davtashen District of Yerevan. The head of department and the employees were accompanied by chief expert of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of Davtashen District Tigran Galstyan.

The employees talked to the members of the host families who expressed their opinions, shared their impressions and memories of the Diaspora Armenian children.

Head of the Department Armen Andreasyan highly appreciated the role of the host families in making the program a success and connecting the Diaspora Armenian children and youth to the homeland and introducing them to Armenian culture.

Head of the Division for Scientific and Educational Programs of the Department of All-Armenian Programs Sirvard Hambaryan conveyed the words of gratitude of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan.

Some of the families have been hosting the Diaspora Armenian children and youth for several years now and they assured that they would host more children in the years to come.

The host families received globe-lamps with Armenian letters as a gift from the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

There will be more visits to host families.
