On September 23, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received President of the Tekeyan Foundation of London and the Tekeyan Center Foundation of Armenia Vardan Uzunyan; member of the Tekeyan Cultural Association of America and Canada Gevorg Marashlyan; Director of the Tekeyan Foundation of Armenia Armen Tsulikyan, as well as Head of the Programs and News Department of the Foundation Seda Khachaturyan.

The RA Minister of Diaspora attached importance to the fact that the representations of the Tekeyan Cultural Association based in Armenian communities of different countries participated in the 5^th Armenia-Diaspora Conference.

Expressing gratitude to the RA Ministry of Diaspora for properly organizing the Armenia-Diaspora Conference, the members of the Tekeyan Foundation and Cultural Association assured that the organizations would support within their respective communities the implementation of the program developed on the basis of proposals made at the conference.

President of London’s Tekeyan Foundation and Armenia’s Tekeyan Center Foundation Vardan Uzunyan invited the RA Minister of Diaspora to London to participate in the meeting to be held with the leaders of British-Armenian community structures and members of the communities by the regional committees in charge of coordinating the events dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial.

The sides discussed the reevaluation of the role of the Tekeyan Cultural Association in the communities, organizational issues, as well as issues related to the Association’s more active participation in the programs carried out by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
