On July 31, with the support of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the official opening ceremony of the 10thAnniversary A.G.Ph.E.U Pan-Armenian scouting was held on the Republic Square.
Bishop Anushavan Jamkochian conveyed to the participants the blessing fromHis Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
The message from the RA President Serzh Sargsyan was conveyed by the RA President Chief of Staff Vigen Sargsyan.
Greeting the participants of the scouting, the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, particularly, stated: ″Dear scouts, boys and girl! From the bottom of my heart and with all my soul, I welcome you in Yerevan, the Capital of all Armenians. I’ll warrant you that the Armenian State is at your side, and that the RA Ministry of Diaspora is the support anda good friend of yours. Holding of the A.G.Ph.E.U Pan-Armenian scouting in the Homeland is a signal forstrengthening the links between the Armenian Diaspora and Motherland, for being energized from the mother land and for the implementation of new pro-Armenian programs and ideas in your residence countries.
Dear young people around the world! The feelings of these intense days will everlastingly warm your hearts and souls; will reinforce the ties that you will acquire during these days of scouting.

Speeches were made by the RA Minister of Sports and Youth, the President of Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Foundation Lilit Galstyan, the representative of the ARF Yerevan City Committee Bagrat Yesayan, etc.
From July 31 to August 9, the 10th Anniversary G.Ph.E.U Pan-Armenian scouting will take place in Byurakan. 720 scouts from 17 countries will participate in the scouting.
On August 3, at the RA Ministry of Diaspora, Memorandum of Cooperation will be signed between the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Armenian General Physical Education (Training) Union(A.G.Ph.E.U).
