Clarifications regarding participation in the programs of the RA Ministry of Diaspora

The RA Ministry has been carrying out the “Ari Tun” Program for cognitive visits of Diaspora Armenian youth to the Homeland (since 2009), the School for Young Diaspora Armenian Leaders Program (since 2010), the Course for Journalists of Diaspora Armenian Mass Media Program (since 2011) and the “Diaspora” Summer School Program in six areas (since 2012). The “Ari Tun” Program and the “Diaspora” Summer School Program are the programs that are the highest in demand and the programs that are expanded year after year, and evidence of that are
the growing number of participants and the expanding geography.
The terms and conditions and requirements for participation in the programs and courses are set, and the applicant must meet all the requirements.
According to the terms and conditions, the person having participated in the program or course may not participate in the same program or course for the next three years, except for the person who has a special request or recommendation from the representatives of the community. The restriction on participation in the programs is due to the ongoing rise of the number of applicants and the resources of the Ministry of Diaspora, as well as by the principle of the ministry to engage more and more people and groups in the programs every year.
