On May 28, three missiles made from gas tanks were dropped in the Armenian-populated New Village district of Aleppo, reports Aleppo’s news office to “ArmenPress”.

According to the source, the dropping of the missiles left Vasken Baboghlian injured. Fortunately, he is not in a troubling state and his life is not at risk. The situation was relatively calm in the Armenian-populated districts of Aleppo for the past couple of days.

Earlier, on May 26, Avedis Kebabjian (born in 1928) was killed after a mine was dropped in the Hamidie district of Aleppo. On May 24, two missiles made from gas tanks were dropped in the Armenian-populated New Village district, injuring Garabed Piloian. From early May to this day, nearly 30 Armenians have been injured in Aleppo. Based on the statistics of the UN, more than 150,000 people have died during the three-year conflict in Syria. There are about 100 Armenian victims.
