“Days of New Julfa” Program kicks off

From May 21st to 24th, the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the Diocesan Council of the Armenian Diocese of Isfahan and the Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran of Yerevan will hold the “Days of New Julfa” series of events as part of the Community Days Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora in Yerevan. The series of events includes concerts, a conference, an exhibition of manuscript books and book presentations.

The three-day event serves as a unique opportunity to help Armenians in Armenia become more familiar with the exceptional culture and history, churches and monasteries, as well as manuscript books and frescoes of the ancient Julfa.

On May 21, the “Days of New Julfa” Program kicked off with a concert devoted to Iranian-Armenian composers Nikol Galanterian, Varujan Partevian and Hambardzum Grigorian by singers Anna Mayilyan, Armen Mkoyan and pianist Elen Kirakosian.
