Armenia’s Ambassador to Egypt Armen Melkonyan had a meeting with Minister of Civil Aviation of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdelaziz Fadel. During the meeting, the sides discussed the opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in civil aviation and the perspectives of organizing regular transit flights between Yerevan and Cairo.

Ambassador Melkonyan presented the Armenian government’s decision on making the transition to the “Open Sky” policy and voiced hope that the policy would contribute to the implementation of the plan to link the two capitals by air, creating wide opportunities for Egyptian airline companies to take advantage of the advantages of Yerevan’s transit flights, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.
