“Breath of Syrian-Armenian Culture in Yerevan” charity fair held at Lovers’ Park in Yerevan

On Feb. 15, on the occasion of Tyarndarach and Saint Sargis Day, the Araratian Patriarchal Diocese of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church organized a celebration that kicked off with a spin from Saint Sargis Church to Lovers’ Park in the shape of a cross. Syrian-Armenians also participated in the march.

RA President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan honored the event at Lovers’ Park with their presence.

During the event organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora, nearly 40 Syrian-Armenians participated in the “Breath of Syrian-Armenian Culture in Yerevan” charity fair, which showcased hand-made works, jewels, pastry and more.

RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, clergymen and state officials visited the pavilions and became familiar with the Syrian-Armenians’ works.

The Syrian-Armenians participating in the charity fair expressed their gratitude to the Armenian government for extending a helping hand and supporting them in these difficult times.
