Iranians’ new invention promises great results in Armenia’s agriculture

Alcazot Plus, which is a new organic substance created by Iranian inventors and is a substitute to chemical fertilizers, will be used in Armenia and will contribute to the development of the country’s agriculture. This is what Director of Armen Biotech Ltd. Siamak Alizadeh said as he presented Alcazot Plus today. Armen Biotech produces the organic substance.

The inventors promise to obtain more plants through the organic substance at prices that are 40-50% cheaper than the price of chemical fertilizers.

Armen Biotech has been producing fertilizers in Iran for nearly 15 years. After studying the global market, the company’s representatives found it appropriate to produce fertilizers in Armenia and registered their company in Armenia in Summer 2013.

“We’ve already produced fertilizers in Abovyan city and will be able to support Armenia’s economy to a certain extent,” Siamak Alizadeh said.

Talking about the substance, the company’s director said the substance is used with the seed while sowing since the bacteria go deep into the roots and can use the azot in the air and be of help to the plant.

Siamak Alizadeh explained that this substance will help plants grow better, without the use of azot fertilizers.

The company’s deputy director Vanik Nairyan said this technology helps the plant receive fertile substances from the air and land. One tube of the substance is equivalent to three bags of a chemical fertilizer.

“The whole world is starting to produce organic produce. Economic effectiveness is expected to be 20-25%,” Nairyan said, assuring that the company will define the same pricing policy in all regions across Armenia.

Vanik Nairyan also mentioned that the created organic fertilizer has already been tested in greenhouses and that the results are positive.
