On May 20, the Lazaryans Armenian Youth Center of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Saint Petersburg hosted an event entitled “You are the Son of My Nation” and organized by the students’ very beloved and experienced teacher Anna Hovhannisyan. As reported N. Gabrielyan to Hayern Aysor, the participants were the first graders of the Center’s school who were proudly aware of the fact that they already know the letters of the Armenian alphabet and that they have taken their first serious step on the path of mastering this beautiful and unique language.

The event featured beautiful performances through which importance was attached to knowledge of the Armenian language. At the end, the students received certificates of completion of the first grade and for learning the letters of the Armenian alphabet.
