Mkhitar Hayrapetyan appointed new RA Minister of Diaspora

On May 12, by the decree of RA President Armen Sargsyan, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan was appointed RA Minister of Diaspora.

On this occasion, the Minister posted the following on his Facebook page: “The way to doubling the number of the population of Armenia as soon as possible is the Great Repatriation. It is necessary to turn Armenia into the land of all Armenians, to have every Armenian living in any corner of the globe identify himself with Armenian statehood and view Armenian statehood as a potential residence, if not for himself, then at least for his generations. As Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, right from the first day on the job, I will selflessly and vigorously work on implementing this idea that was included in our pre-electoral platform a year ago.”
