Akhalkalak’s Armenian Youth, Educational and Cultural Center celebrated its 10th anniversary

On March 17, the Armenian Youth, Educational and Cultural Center of Akhalkalak hosted an event dedicated to the Center’s 10th anniversary. Among the attendees were Primate of the Georgian-Armenian Diocese, His Grace, Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan and his group of pontiffs of the Diocese; Head of the Department for Relations with the Near East at the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Taron Shagoyan; members of “Family” Children’s Creative Center of Gyumri; several members of ARS Georgia and many other guests, reported the Center to Hayern Aysor.
After performances of the Armenian and Georgian national anthems, the participants of the event received the blessing of His Holiness, who congratulated the Center on its 10th anniversary, highly appreciated the faithful efforts of the Center’s teachers to provide Armenian children with an Armenian upbringing and preserve the Armenian language and wished them success and more achievements.
Greeting the attendees, Chairwoman of ARS Georgia Karine Tadevosyan expressed her kind wishes and congratulatory remarks to the staff of the Center.
Taron Shagoyan transmitted the congratulatory message of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan.
Member of the Armenian Youth, Educational and Cultural Center of Akhalkalak Lilit Gabrielyan read the congratulatory messages of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan, RA Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan and Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan.
During the event, the Masters of Ceremonies presented the activities that the Center has carried out over the past decade. The event also featured performances by the Center’s HAYK Ensemble, other members of the Center, the members of “Family” Children’s Creative Center of Gyumri and Karen Atoyan, who participated in Shant TV’s “Folk Singer” TV song contest.
At the end, the Armenian Youth, Educational and Cultural Center of Akhalkalak hosted a reception for the guests.
