Silva Kaputikyan’s works to decorate buses in Russian city of Vladimir
From January 16 to March, bus #31 in the Russian city of Vladimir will become “a literary” bus since it will be decorated with excerpts from the works of writers Silva Kaputikyan, Ruvim Frayerman and Rasul Gamzatov.
Hayern Aysor, citing Komsomolskaya Pravda-Vladimir newspaper, reports that the project is being carried out as part of the National Culture Marathon: Open Window Program, which is aimed at introducing Russian, Armenian, Tatar, Dagestani and Jewish writers to the public.
Passengers will answer questions about the writers’ works during trivia games to be held in the bus. Those who give the right answers will receive the books by the above-mentioned authors as gifts.
