Chris Cornell wrote the song “The Promise” for the homonymous Hollywood film devoted to the Armenian Genocide. Talking about the film, the singer said the following: “We need to be aware of the events that happened in the past. It is very important for me because we are not just telling the story about something that happened a century ago. We are talking about history that is happening today.”
