Haik Darbinyan’s book “A Song about Jane” presented in Moscow

On November 19, the Central Home of Writers of Moscow hosted the presentation of Russia-based Armenian writer Haik Darbinyan’s book “A Song about Jane” (Песня о Джейн). The presentation was held as part of the “Days of Culture of Armenia in Russia” events.

As reported Azniv Paronyan to Hayern Aysor, Haik was born on August 27, 1989 in Yerevan. He is a lawyer by profession and a member of the Union of Writers of Moscow. In a short amount of time, he has managed to become a favorite of readers. This is Haik’s fourth book following the books “Road to Death” (Дорога смерти, 2010), “The Confessions of My Assassins” (Признания моих убийц, 2012) and “Tango with a Shadow” (Танго с тенью, 2015).

In the highly aesthetic book “A Song about Jane”, the author shares his memories of a love, as well as his emotions and concerns. The author also maintains the principles of romanticism and talks with sharp irony and satire, which particularly concerns modern reality.

The book presentation was held with the active participation of readers, writers and fans of literature. Among the attendees were members of Haik’s family, representatives of the Armenian community of Moscow and other Armenian communities, as well as students and professors of universities of Moscow.
