On September 27, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the delegation of Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, including Chairman of the Central Committee Meguerditch Meguerditchian (Lebanon); member of the Central Committee, Head of Baitarian Trading Garabed Baitarian (Lebanon); members of the Central Committee Garo Manjikian (Syria) and Vicken Tufenkjian (Canada); Board President of Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society Fund, member of the Central Committee Spartak Gharabaghtsyan and Director of the Fund in Armenia Nare Mikayelyan.

Greeting the guests, the Minister of Diaspora attached importance to the organization’s activities for preservation of the Armenian identity, its close collaboration with the Ministry and the implementation of joint cultural and educational programs.

The guests expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and shared their impressions of the 6^th Armenia-Diaspora Pan-Armenian Conference, including the organizational issues, the speeches and the expected outcomes.

During the meeting, the sides considered issues related to the development and strengthening of the cooperation between the RA Ministry of Diaspora and Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society and the joints events to be held on the occasion of the 90^th anniversary of Hamazkayin next year.
