On August 10, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Sweden Artak Apitonyan received a group of young Swedish-Armenians who have participated in the “Ari Tun” Program of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.

Welcoming the young Armenians’ vigor to discover the Homeland anew, the Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the fact that the number of Swedish-Armenians participants is growing year after year.

The young Swedish-Armenians provided details about their visit to Armenia, shared their impressions and made recommendations.

During the meeting held in a warm atmosphere, the Ambassador and the young Swedish-Armenians discussed Issues on further strengthening of the connection between young Swedish-Armenians and the homeland and their active participation in the programs carried out in Armenia, particularly the programs of the Ministry of Diaspora. The young Swedish-Armenians also asked about student exchanges in Armenia and the opportunities to participate in cultural and athletic events.

At the end, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia wished the young Armenians success in their studies and work and called on them to show more active participation in the programs of the Armenian embassy and in community projects.
