“100 Ideas for Armenia” republican competition to become pan-Armenian competition this year

This year, the “100 Ideas for Armenia” republican competition, which is held by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, will become a pan-Armenian competition, providing young Diaspora Armenians with the opportunity to share their ideas for the homeland’s development as well.

As reported the press service of the Ministry to Hayern Aysor, the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs hosted a discussion to approve the categories for this year’s competition and specify the time periods for the competition. During the discussion, Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, chairman of the organizing committee of the “100 Ideas for Armenia” youth competition Arsen Karamyan stated that the boundaries of the competition held for the first time in the Republic of Armenia last year can be expanded. “Through close collaboration with the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, we can also engage young Diaspora Armenians, listen to them as they share their ideas and provide them with the opportunity to popularize those ideas. The consideration of the categories and the final approval are important, taking into consideration the experience of the previous year.”

According to Arsen Karamyan, the primary goal is to enhance young Armenians’ innovative thinking, engage them in the processes of solving Armenia’s social and economic issues and promote scientific and technological developments. “We need to make ideological reforms in order to make the future better. The youth’s involvement is always a priority when it comes to implementation of reforms,” the Deputy Minister stated.

The members of the organizing committee for the youth competition decided to specify the rules and regulations, terms and conditions, categories and time periods for the new and already pan-Armenian competition over the next couple of days.
