Abkhazian-Armenian participant of 2017 “Ari Tun” Program: “I want to receive a lot of information about Armenia”

In an interview with Hayern Aysor, Abkhazian-Armenian participant of the 2017 “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Armine Chaelyan said she speaks Armenian at home in order to preserve her national identity. She and her family preserve national traditions and celebrate all holidays like Vardavar Water Festival. Chaelyan also said she is happy that this year’s visit to Armenia fell in line with the day of the Vardavar Water Festival.
Chaelyan had visited Armenia twice before. During those visits, she had been to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Comple, the temple in Garni, Geghard Monastery and Khor Virap Monastery.
During this visit, Armine Chaelyan wants to receive a lot of information about the history, culture and traditions of Armenia so that she can take pride in being Armenian and tell about Armenia in Abkhazia.
