Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan attends Archie Galents’ personal exhibition

On July 8, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan visited the Modern Art Museum where member of the Board of Trustees of the Galents Cultural Foundation, painter Archie Galents had opened his personal exhibition called “Timetable: Avoiding a Disaster” on July 7.

The Minister viewed the exhibition, talked to the artist and highly appreciated the opening of such an interesting exhibition in the Homeland and his pro-national activities for the preservation and dissemination of the Armenian culture within the community and in the Homeland. The Minister of Diaspora particularly touched upon the famous painter’s latest exhibitions that serve as a unique platform for helping Armenian artists become recognized in Europe.

Archie Galents expressed gratitude to Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan for attending the exhibition and assured that the creators of Armenia and the Diaspora would soon be united within an independent association to create a unified platform for Armenian arts.

The exhibition is an exhibition/installation showcasing the works that Galents has created over the past 13 years, as well as new works (objects-“flags”) that have been created especially for this exhibition.

The exhibition will run until July 16.
