The theater company of the Bonheur Retrouvé (Happiness Found Again) Association of Paris presented an Armenian play entitled “The Fairy Tales of Tumanyan” in the Belgian city of Ostend, reported speaker of the Bonheur Retrouve organization, journalist of France’s famous Radio “ԱՅԲ FM” and host Artak Tadevosyan to Iravunk.
“The actors starring in the play presented four fairy tales of Tumanyan to Armenian children in Belgium, including the fairy tales “Anban Hoorin”, “Sutasane”, “Kikosi Mahe” and “Ankhelk Marde”. The performance sparked great reactions, and the audience received the play with great excitement. What’s more, the theater company received new offers and already has an initial agreement with a local organization to return to Belgium to present a new play devoted to the New Year,” Tadevosyan said.
Our interlocutor also noted that the next stop would be Paris. “On June 9, we will present the fairy tales at the Translators’ School in Paris, and on June 10-in the hall adjunct to the Armenian church in Paris. Taking the opportunity, I would like to express gratitude to President of Bonheur Retrouvé Organization Haik Melikyan, who helped create this theater company. I would also like to thank actress Armine Gabrielyan, without whom this performance would simply be impossible, as well as Silvi Barkov, Ruzanna Matevosyan, Haik Kotanyan, Frunze Gevorgyan, Koryun Haroyan and, of course, little Margushik and Rafael, whose acting added flavor to the performance.”
