Event dedicated to 25th anniversary of Shushi’s liberation held in Belgium’s Liège

On May 27, an event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi was held under the title “Breath of Heaven” in the city of Liège of the Kingdom of Belgium.
In her opening speech at the event, Director of Arax Armenian Cultural Center Hermine Azaryan presented the history of Artsakh, starting from its formation and leading up to our days. Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Kingdom of Belgium Irina Beglaryan was also attending the event.
The event featured the “Artsakh” exhibition and Gegham Melikyan’s “Heroes-Geniuses” exhibition. Both exhibitions were dedicated to the heroic battles for the liberation of Artsakh.
Afterwards, the attendees watched the short French-language documentary film called “Our Artsakh” and listened to performances by Nara Noyan and Vardan Hovhannisyan, who are famous musicians in Belgium and several other countries across Europe.
At the end, on behalf of Arax Armenian Cultural Center, Hermine Azaryan expressed gratitude to all the guests and participants and those who had helped make the event possible, including the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Belgium, the Armenian National Committee of Europe, as well as the musicians and volunteers.
