On November 21, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Ukraine, Archbishop Grigoris Buniatyan and leader of the Armenian community of the Ukrainian Khmelnitski region Suren Avagyan.
Issues related to preservation of the Armenian identity, dissemination of the Armenian language and issues concerning the Ukrainian-Armenian community were discussed during the meeting.
The guests presented the events that the Ukrainian-Armenian community is organizing ahead of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan attached importance to the guests’ efforts for preservation and dissemination of the Armenian language in Ukraine and their participation in the programs and events organized by the Ministry of Diaspora.
