Award of RA Ministry of Diaspora granted during ceremony in France

In 2015, the Armenian Culture Home of the French cities of Grenoble and Dofine participated in the Pan-Armenian Awards of the RA Ministry of Diaspora “For notable contribution to preservation of the Armenian identity” and received the 2nd prize as the Best Armenian Community during the award ceremony held in October 2016.

On this occasion, on January 24, 2017, the Culture Home hosted the official ceremony of handing the award. Among the attendees were Mayor of Grenoble, Deputy of the French National Assembly Eric Piol; Deputy Mayor Bernard Macre; representative of the district council of Ron-Alp Natalie Berange, as well as senators, Deputies of the National Assembly and members of the local Armenian community. The congratulatory video message of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and the film devoted to the Culture Home’s 34-year activities were shown during the ceremony.

The activities carried out within the scope of cooperation between the French and Armenian cities of Grenoble and Sevan were presented during the ceremony, which ended with performances by students of the Culture Home’s one-day Armenian school and Yrevan Armenian Dance Group.
