The students of the Armenian school “Mashdotsyan letters” in the city of Dijon will assist the students in Artsakh

The students of the “Mashdotsyan letters” Armenian school in the city of Dijon, France, and the members of the “Armenian youth” club have joined the pan-Armenian movement “What are you doing for Karabagh”, initiated by the Ministry of Diaspora.

“Answering the call of the Ministry of Diaspora, we are joining the “What are you doing for Karabagh” pan-Armenian movement. During the meeting held at the school we all agreed that we will dedicate all the events to be held in 2017 to Artsakh.

“In May we organized an event titled “I am Artsakh”, that was reported in the “Bien publique” newspaper of Dijon. Just like during that event, young and old are ready to participate in all the upcoming events.

“The idea of the movement “What are you doing for Karabagh” deeply inspired everybody. The members of the “Armenian youth” club will organize an exhibit-sale of handicrafts. Other charitable events will also be organized and the entire income from those events will be transferred to the students attending special schools in Artsakh”,- said Lilit Baghramyan, principal of the “Mashdotsyan letters” school, during a conversation with “Hayern Aysor”.

“In my opinion, beside initiating anything dedicated to Artsakh, we can also include people from Artsakh in our events. Imagine how enjoyable and interesting it would be if a group of youth from Artsakh and another from the Diaspora work jointly on an idea and realize a project together.

“One of the main projects will be to organize a large-scale event in Dijon, in which will be participating not only the Armenian community, but also representatives of other nations. During that event, the history and culture of Karabakh will be presented”,- concluded the school principal.
