Armenian community of Almelo responds to the call of the Ministry of Diaspora

On November 13, the hall of the St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church of Almelo will host an event to introduce the “Support Nagorno-Karabakh” action initiated by the Armenian community of Almelo. In its nature, it is a response to the call of the Ministry of Diaspora (What Are You Doing For Karabakh?), as reported the Armenian community of the Netherlands to Hayern Aysor.

During the event, the members of the community will talk about the assistance that Dutch-Armenians have provided to the families of those who were wounded or killed during the Nagorno-Karabakh war.

On that day, the members will also introduce two individuals who have been carrying out activities for the past years. Through videos, the participants of the event will be introduced to the activities that pastor Fr. Mashtots has been carrying out in Almelo, Assen, Arnhem and Maastricht for the past five years.

The other person is Manuk Mkrtchyan. For the past ten years, he has been directing the Armenian Sunday school of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Almelo with great pleasure and the drive for creating. Manuk Mkrtchyan has helped the school succeed a lot and has made great contributions to the provision of an Armenian education and upbringing for the young generation.
