Armenia continues to receive Syrian-Armenian families
On October 30, three Syrian-Armenian families arrived in Armenia with the help of the Armenian Evangelical Association. At Zvartnots International Airport, the Oghloians, Maldosians and Boughdasarians (a total of 10 people) were greeted by Head of the Department for Armenian Communities of the Near East and Middle East at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Levon Antonyan, employee of the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ issues NGO Nora Pilibosian, Public Relations Representative of the Office of the Armenian Evangelical Association in Yerevan Lusine Ohanyan and the relatives of the Syrian-Armenian families.
“The Syrian-Armenian families were transported from the airport to Yerevan with the help of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO. Two families were transported to the shelter of the Armenian Evangelical Association, which has assumed the task of leasing apartments for the families and paying the apartment rents. The other family was transported to the Glendale Hills District,” Levon Antonyan reported to Hayern Aysor.
