On October 25, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Lebanon Samvel Mkrtchyan had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon Gebran Bassil.
During the meeting, the sides talked about several issues on the agenda of bilateral relations and the efforts that are being made for further development and deepening of cooperation. In this regard, importance was attached to the role of the Armenian community of Lebanon, which is actively engaged in the political, economic and cultural life of Lebanon.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the organizing of reciprocal visits of high-ranking officials and the revitalization of cooperation within international organizations.
The sides also touched upon a number of issues related to the latest developments in Lebanon’s interior politics in detail.
