Today we have an opportunity to meet and express gratitude to artist Aris Nadirian, who was born in Isfahan, one of the most beautiful centers for Armenian culture. Aris received his musical education in London, but his heart and soul are filled with the Armenian arts and music. By establishing and directing the London Armenian Opera in London, Aris Nadirian has gathered the artists and musicians of the Armenian community and presents Armenian classical music to the British public. He has also properly choreographed Armen Tigranyan’s “Anush” opera and Tigran Chukhajyan’s “Karine” opera.”

Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan awarded Aris Nadirian with the Komitas Medal for disseminating Armenian arts in the Diaspora and showing a high level of mastery in the field.

Expressing gratitude for such a high award, the artist stated that it was a great honor for him to perform and popularize the works of great Armenians through opera music.

The Minister granted a certificate of the RA Ministry of Diaspora to soloist of the choir of London’s Saint Yeghishe Armenian Church Hripsime Khasgalian as a token of appreciation of her activities aimed at preserving the Armenian identity, as well as for preserving and disseminating Armenian culture.
