РусскийArmenia sees growth in wine and brandy production
Based on the statistics released by the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia, 11,468,800 liters of brandy were produced in Armenia between January and August 2016. The number has grown by 29.3% compared to the same period last year.
According to the NSS, in the same period last year, 8,872,600 liters of brandy were produced throughout the country.
Based on official statistics, wine production has also grown in Armenia. In particular, between January and August of this year, Armenia has produced 3,779,100 liters of wine, which is 8.4% more compared to the same period last year.
Let us mention that Armenia produced 3,485,200 liters of wine between January and August of 2015.
