Yerevan State University hosted presentation of Armenian American writer Hovsep Nalbandian’s books “Book of Love” and “Armenian Short Story I”

On October 3, Yerevan State University hosted the presentation of the books “Book of Love” and “Armenian Short Story I” by Armenian American writer Hovsep Nalbandian.

Dean of the YSU Faculty of Philology, Professor Artsrun Avagyan; Head of the Chair of Armenian Literature, Professor Samvel Muradyan and Head of the Chair of History of the Armenian Language, Professor Ruben Sakapetoyan participated in and gave welcoming speeches at the event.

RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan transmitted the congratulatory message of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan.

Hovsep Nalbandian was awarded with the Gold Medal of the RA Ministry of Diaspora for his successes in providing the young generation of Armenians with an Armenian education and upbringing and for his great contributions to the preservation of the Armenian identity. The Gold Medal was granted by RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan.

Hovsep Nalbandian expressed his gratitude and attached great importance to the role that the Ministry of Diaspora and Yerevan State University play in organizing the preservation of the Armenian identity and stated the following: “These two organizations are my home, and every time I visit the Homeland, I definitely visit the Ministry of Diaspora and Yerevan State University.”
