He is learning Armenian as a second language at his university. His teacher told himabout the “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and suggested that he participate.
Andrey is in Armenia with some of his classmates. “We decided to take advantage of the opportunity and participate in the program in order to become more familiar with Armenia,” Andrey, 18, mentioned in an interview with Hayern Aysor.
Andrey lives at the hostel of Yerevan State University. He likes Armenia a lot and says it is sunny, warm, everything is organic, people are kind and smiling and are very different from the people in Moscow.
Thanks to the “Ari Tun” Program, his days in Armenia are interesting and extraordinary. What impressed and charmed him the most in Armenia was the nature. He says he is happy to have been able to discover Armenia and make new friends.
“I feel strange when people in Armenia understand me, but I can’t understand them. I try to understand them, but with difficulty. I only know some words and phrases in Armenian. However, I am trying to learn Armenian and know all there is to know about Armenia. I am interested in the history, culture, nature and the sites. I loved Armenia and would like to return,” Andrey concluded.
