On October 18-19, with the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a scientific conference devoted to “Relations between the Church and the State: Imperatives and Challenges” will be held by the Inter-Ecclesiastical Relations Department of the Mother See with the support of the Armenian Round Table Inter-ecclesiastical Foundation of the World Council of Churches and the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, reports the press office of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to “Hayern Aysor”.

Among speakers will be cenobites of the Mother See, as well as representatives of different Churches, RA state bodies, universities, international Christian and non-governmental organizations.

The conference will be held at the ceremonies hall of the Gevorgyan Spiritual Lyceum and will begin with a solemn opening ceremony at 10:00.

At 13:30, embroider-painter Marieta Martirosyan-Alexanyan will open her personal exhibition called “Music of the Soul” at the hall of the Old Matenadaran of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
