Cultural event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia held in Beijing

On July 15, within the framework of the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia, the Beijing Jintai Art Museum hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition showcasing the paintings by Armenia’s painters Alexander Deroyan and Sevada Grigoryan and organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in China, as reported the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In his welcoming remarks addressed to the participants of the event, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to China Sergey Manasaryan briefly presented the history of Armenia’s independence, attached special importance to the Armenian-Chinese cultural partnership and highlighted the development of cultural contacts and exchanges. “This cultural event, which is being held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence, serves as a good occasion to present Chinese art lovers to Armenian paintings,” Ambassador Manasaryan stated.
Among those attending the opening ceremony were ambassadors and diplomats accredited to Beijing, representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, as well as Chinese art lovers and journalists.
The exhibition will run until July 20.
