Second stage of “Ari Tun” Program ends with traditional bonfire

On July 1, the grand closing ceremony of the second stage of the “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora was held at the “Ari Tun” Camp in Tsaghkadzor. Among the participants were RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan, employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and guests.

Deputy Minister Serzh Srapionyan greeted the participants of the “Ari Tun” Program on behalf of the Minister of Diaspora and particularly stated the following: “Dear participants, I am certain that the past 14 days helped you recognize, love become connected to our Mother Homeland Armenia, which declared its independence 25 years ago. During your two-week stay, you became more familiar with the rich Armenian culture and learned Armenian songs and dances. Most importantly, you made new friends. By participating in the “Ari Tun” Program and establishing contacts, you truly help form a Diaspora of 10.5 million Armenians. I am certain that many of you will be leaving Armenia with the great desire to return to the Homeland.”

The participants of the second stage of the program danced, recited poems and performed patriotic songs that they had been rehearsing during their stay at the “Ari Tun” Camp.

Hayk Yesayan also greeted the attendees with his performance.

Let us mention that there were 95 participants from different countries, including Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Hungary, Moldova and the USA.
