Armed terrorists continue to bomb Syrian cities and the Armenian-populated districts of Aleppo, taking the lives of more people and causing destruction.

Unfortunately, these bombings took the lives of Armenians again. Betty Nersisian was killed during the explosion of a self-made missile that the terrorists released towards the Suleymanieh district of Aleppo, while soldier George Assal, who is of Armenian descent, was killed during the clashes against DAHESH near Deir ez-Zor.

The Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia expresses its condolences to the families of the victims, wishing them courage, and to the wounded-speedy recovery.

We hope peace is established in Syria as soon as possible and the terrorists receive the punishment they deserve.
