Tamara Azizyan opens “School in the Desert” photo exhibition in New Zealand

On May 24, Tamara Azizyan opened her “School in the Desert” photo exhibition devoted to schoolchildren in Palestine at Studio One Gallery in Auckland, New Zealand, as Gohar Baghdasaryan reported to Hayern Aysor from Auckland.

The school for children in Palestine serves as hope and promise, and the people of Palestine are fighting to preserve their identity in that region.

Among the attendees were president of the Armenian community of New Zealand Noubar Yaghoubian, as well as members of the community and foreign guests.

Let us add that Tamara Azizyan lives in Auckland and works for Maori TV. She is involved in various independent documentary projects and is writing the script for her first short film.
