РусскийBan Ki-moon cancels visit to Southern Caucasus
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon cancelled the visit to Southern Caucases countries that was supposed to take place in late April.
Head of the Department of Public Information of the UN in Armenia Armine Halajyan told Mediamax about this referring to information provided by Stephane Dujarric, Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General.
UN Secretary-General planned his first visit to Armenia on April 25. Ban Ki-moon also intended to visit Tbilisi and Baku in the framework of his visit to the region.
“According to Stephane Dujarric, Secretary-General was eager to visit the region, however, he has to be in a different place on those days due to urgent issues. Therefore, the dates of a visit to Southern Caucasus will be reviewed,” Armine Halajyan told Mediamax.
